Sometimes you have to go down the rabbit hole just to see how far it goes.
As I’ve been a fan of rock guitarist Joe Satriani for over 30 years, it was an easy choice to choose him as the basis for an Anthology I wanted to create. Anthologies are like our standard LifeStories, in that they are are time-centric stories of people, but they generally have a much higher level of third-party content.
I have quite a lot of material on Satriani, including his albums on CD and the occasional DVD. For this Anthology I expanded by collection significantly, acquiring more disk-based media and compiling as much material as I could find. I ended up with over 16 hours of video and 27 audio albums, on which he either appeared as a solo artist or in collaboration with others.
For a regular fan, the problem now is that you have an unwieldy collection spread across multiple media types. The Anthology is the perfect answer as it pulls everything together in one place. Everything runs on an iPad and is all accessible with a single touch.
We’ve now done Anthologies on over half a dozen subjects and each time we push back the barriers and create something a little more advanced. If you’d like us to create one for you, please contact us.
(If you’re a Joe Satriani fan yourself and just want to see the timeline, I’ve added it here).
